Philosophy of Care
Hospice care provides sensitive and compassionate care for patients and their families faced with the final phase of an illness. Our philosophy offers support and guidance while upholding the sanctity of life. Hospice advocates patient dignity and comfort at home or in a home-like environment. Hospice affirms life. It neither hastens nor postpones death, but regards dying as a normal process at life's end. Hospice care focuses on quality of life, pain and symptom control, emotional and spiritual support for the patient and their loved ones.
